Prof. Mary Wingfield spoke at a meeting at the Oireachtas on the 28th February 2018 regarding the proposed Assisted Human Reproduction Bill. Dr. John Waterstone and Dr. John Kennedy were also in attendance.
Prof Wingfield was a member of the Commission on Assisted Human Reproduction, which produced its report in 2005, and she is delighted to see that, except for the proposals on parenthood in surrogacy, the draft Bill accords with the recommendations of the Commission.
