Covid-19 Procedures at MFC

Prior to Attending the Clinic

A staff member will go through a list of triage questions over the phone prior to your appointment.

In between triage and attendance, if you or anyone in your household become diagnosed with or are awaiting test results, have symptoms of or have been in contact with someone suspected of Covid-19 or if you have travelled or plan to travel outside Ireland soon, please inform the clinic immediately.

When Visiting the Clinic

Please do not arrive more than five minutes before instructed.

Please arrive unaccompanied, unless previously discussed. An additional person (adults only) can accompany patients for an early pregnancy scan (partner or otherwise).

You will be triaged again on arrival at reception and directed to the relevant waiting area.

Masks are mandatory and you will be asked to sanitise your hands at reception.

Waiting rooms are socially distanced with limited numbers. Therefore, on occasion, you may be directed to an alternative waiting area.

During a Treatment Cycle

If you are due a vaccine dose close to starting or during a treatment cycle, please discuss this with clinical staff prior to receiving it.

A more detailed Patient Information, Triage Questionnaire & Code of Conduct re Covid-19 must be completed before starting treatment.

If you or anyone in your household become diagnosed with or are awaiting test results, have symptoms of or have been in contact with someone suspected of Covid-19 or if you  plan to travel outside Ireland during the cycle, please inform the clinic immediately.
