Professor Jennifer Walsh is Master of the National Maternity Hospital. Professor Walsh first joined the National Maternity Hospital in 2016 as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Maternal and Fetal Medicine Subspecialist. A graduate of UCD, she completed her postgraduate subspecialty training at Columbia University in New York. As Master, Professor Walsh’s role also includes the executive management and direction of the hospital. She sits on the Project Board for the move to the new National Maternity Hospital at the SVUH campus at Elm Park. She brings extensive clinical leadership and strategic insight to her role on the board of Merrion Fertility Clinic.
