Dr Laura O’Byrne completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2026 and is a Member of both the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI). She was awarded a PhD for her research into maternal health outcomes, with a particular focus on improving women’s experiences and recovery following childbirth. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed international journals.
Dr O’Byrne joined Merrion Fertility Clinic to undertake a Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, where she is further developing her expertise in fertility care, reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive technologies.
