Aoife recently joined Merrion Fertility Clinic as Nurse Manager.

She graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a BSc in Midwifery in 2010 and began her career in fertility the following year. In 2013, she completed a graduate certificate in fertility ultrasound at University College Dublin, and in 2019 became the first Nurse/Midwife in Ireland to achieve ESHRE certification.

Alongside her clinical work, Aoife has been active in education. She has guest lectured at Trinity College Dublin, worked as an associate lecturer for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and has given talks and presentations on fertility to pharmacy groups, corporate groups and schools.

She has also contributed to professional events, presenting at Fertility 2023, and has previously been on the organising committees for Sharing Best Practice and Insights, where she has also presented.

In 2024, she was invited to join the ESHRE Nurses and Midwives Certification Committee, a panel of international experts in the field of medically assisted reproduction, responsible for developing the curriculum and exam for ESHRE certification.
